A Day In Your Life
It is interesting to wake up everyday and wonder what your day has in store for you. This is a life of a mom at home who had to look after three growing children. However, they are now all grown and taking care of themselves. No more school runs, waking up early to prepare breakfast, ensuring that everyone has lunch, has on proper school uniform, hair combed and homework done. It was such a rush in the mornings.
During the day, I had to make sure that the house was clean, I had to run errands. I was paying bills, I was buying groceries and ensuring that everybody has what they need in the house. There was no time to settle down because the rush starts again and I have to pick up the kids. Do homework with them, prepare supper and on it goes.
Now, to wake up with no plan and wait for the day to talk to you is wonderful. So far, somedays have said, play the piano. I am enjoying learning to play the piano. Somedays said, write a story. I have enjoyed writing some short stories which I hope to share with you here. Some days have edged me to take a little trip out of Johannesburg. I have enjoyed that too.
